Chennai/Kattupalli Module Fabrication: As part of the project, over 100 process and pipe rack modules, totaling approximately 62,000 tonnes, are being fabricated at L&T's Kattupalli Modular Fabrication Facility near Chennai, India. The Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP), developed by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited in collaboration with Rosatom, is one of India’s most significant nuclear energy projects. Located in Kudankulam, the plant plays a vital role in strengthening the country’s clean and reliable power generation capacity, with multiple reactor units designed to meet growing energy demands. R&M Engineers And Services Pvt Ltd has contributed to this prestigious project by executing cable laying works across critical plant areas.

Laying of power, control, and instrumentation cables Cable tray installation and routing Glanding, termination, and identification Testing and continuity checks Compliance with stringent nuclear safety and quality standards Given the highly sensitive nature of nuclear infrastructure, all works were carried out with a strong emphasis on precision, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance, ensuring reliable and long-term performance of electrical systems.
The project, approved by the central government, aims to provide a minimum scalable bandwidth of 1 Gbps to all the 12,525 village panchayats in the state. It would provide to the public digital services at low cost, e-education, tele-medicine and triple play services.
Further, it would ensure high speed internet for government offices, schools, colleges and industrial establishments and provide government services at people’s doorstep.
R&M has bagged orders from L&T PT&D.
The manufacturing unit in Vijayanagar is the largest single-location integrated steel-making facility in India with a current capacity of 12 mtpa.
The expansion will be spread across 600 acres and includes establishing a 4.5 mtpa blast furnace, two steel melt shops of 350 tonnes each and a 5 mtpa hot strip mill along with other allied and auxiliary facilities.
E&I division of R&M bagged order worth 12 crores from L&T MMH. Work commenced on August 17 2022.
Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) is the largest nuclear power station in India , Situated in Koodankulam in the Tirunelveli district of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu . Construction on the plant began on 31st march 2002.KKNPP is scheduled to have six VVER-1000 reactors built in collaboration with Atomstroy export , the Russian state company and Nuclear power corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) with an installed capacity of 6000 MV of electricity. For L&T Construction, E&I Works for KKNPP Main plant 1&2 was completed on 2010.
At present we are executing mechanical pipeline job for Reliance Infrastructure.
India is one of the countries with large production of energy from renewable sources. Solar energy system do not produce air pollution, water pollution, or greenhouse gases. At Kayathar, TamilNadu we are performing 25 MW solar project for L&T Solar. Our services for this project are AC,DC & Civil work. The work order value is around 2.5 Crores. 20 MW at Therkumylodai,Kayathar and 5 MW at Paneerkulam. Completed the project on January 2021.
Athikadavu-Avinashi project proposes to draw 1.5 thousand million cubic feet (TMC) of surplus water from River Bhavani, from the downstream of Kalingarayan anicut, and fill 32 Public Works Department tanks, 42 union tanks and 970 ponds in the three districts. The project will also help irrigate 24,468 acres.
Electrical & Instrumentation works for Athikadavu-Avinashi Pump House-3 project, Tamil Nadu has been awarded to R&M Engineers from L&T-WET. Completed the project on January 2022.
Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), the first integrated steel plant in the public sector in India ,was set up with German collaboration with an installed capacity of 1 million tonnes. We have started the project on 2018, we have done Electrical and Instrumentation work at RSP for L&T MMH our work value is for around 2.3 Crores. Completed the project on July-2020.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) ,is an oil refinery at Mangalore , and is a subsidiary of ONGC ,set up in 1988. The refinery is located at Katipalla,north from centre of Mangalore city. The products from the refinery are Petroleum , Petrochemicals and gas .MRPL has a design capacity of 15 million metric tonnes per annum and is the only refinery in India to have two hydrocrackers producing premium diesel.
Jindal Tanmar Thermal Power Plant is a coal based thermal power plant located in Tanmar village near Raigarh town in Raigarh district in the Indian state of chattisgarh.The power plant is operated by Jindal Steel and power.
Project was started on 2012. We have done electrical & instrumentation works for L&T. Completed the job on 2014. Work order value was around 11.3 Crores.
The project aims to rollout 2900 kms of OFC network to be owned and operated by the Indian Navy.The network uses state-of-art technology to ensured completely secured network to Indian Navy.The OFC Network is basically an access overlay network connecting to all campuses of any stations.The entire work is distributed among four zones.Eastern,western,Northern and Suthern Zone covering 51 nodes comprises of 600 links in 19 states.Works are predominantly in rocky/coastal areas.
